This week it really hit me that summer is finally here. Maybe it's because the sun and warm temperatures have made an appearance this week, after a very cool rainy spring. Or maybe it's because I realized this morning that there are only five school days left until summer break. My kids have been complaining about getting up for school every morning this week...they are so ready for the lazy days of summer.
Outside my garden is showing its appreciation of the wet spring. The flowers and veggies are growing! Here are a few pictures :)
Summer for me, means a less hectic schedule and plenty of time to go on adventures with the kids. We'll hit the museums, picnic in the national parks, go see movies and concerts. I am a relaxed mama in the summer. We like to sleep in , veg out, and to READ!!
