New Years Resolutions

I'll just say it, I'm terrible at keeping new year's resolutions. I think (hope) I'm not the only one! But I do enjoy looking forward to a new year. Perhaps it's the optimist in me, but in January, as 2020 stretches out in front of me, I can't help think about all the delicious possibilities ahead.

There are things to look forward to: My debut novel Captain of My Heart is coming out February 10th. The second book in the Hearts of Stoneleigh Manor series, Thief of My Heart, will release later this year. My sister and her family will be traveling down to visit us for Spring Break. And I've just booked a beach house for a week's vacation later this summer.

So in the spirit of try, try, again...here are my new year's resolutions: Update this blog more often, once a month at least. Get in some exercise everyday. Prioritize time to read, my goal is 25 books this year. And take time to appreciate when good things happen.

As Ferris Bueller says: Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Good luck to all of you who make new year's resolutions/goals! I hope that 2020 will be filled with new opportunities and adventures!
