"What a shocking beginning in this shockingly fantastic love story.
This story had me captured from the preface and didn't let me go until the thrilling heartfelt ending.
My first time reading this author and the book was written with the villain's dialogue in first person which made the story even more dynamic.
I loved both Matthew and Elizabeth with all of their sizzling passion along with the entire cast of characters.

"This story hooked me faster than a gossip column scandal, part murder mystery, part love letter to redemption, all wrapped up in delicious banter and surprisingly tender moments. The pacing was brisk, the twists came with flair, and by the time the end rolled around, I was clutching my kindle like Elizabeth clutching editorial deadlines. Note to self: never underestimate a woman with ink-stained fingers and a knack for unearthing trouble (or love).
This was a great, well-written story, with wonderful characters, and well thought out plot - there was never a dull moment as something was always happening to keep me turning pages quickly. The surprising twists towards the end were icing on the cake!"
